About this position We are seeking a motivated individual to join Carrier’s Corporate Controller’s team as the Manager of SEC Reporting. This position is an individual contributor role responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate, timely and compliant SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other related filings. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with proven knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations and public company reporting requirements. Strong cross-functional problem solving and communication skills are required. Key responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation of SEC filings for the quarterly and annual financial results of Carrier in accordance with GAAP and SEC filing requirements (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements and other required documents) - Review and provide input into the investor relations function for earnings release presentations and non-GAAP reporting - Assist Legal Department with Proxy and other periodic Form 8-K filings - Monitor and interpret changes in SEC regulations and accounting standards, communicating relevant upd...
