POSITION SUMMARY: Increase sales of meat and cheeses at the deli counter through customer engagement and interaction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner to generate brand awareness to increase sales - Prepare and demonstrate new and or promoted products to store customers through sample arrangements and by demonstrating recipes using company products - Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products; use product slicer to fill orders and or provide samples to customers; complete order process for purchases. - Clean area and equipment as required by supermarket and local health code - Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed. - Notify management in case of an extraordinary issue, including but not limited to, quality failures and overstock - Maintain excellent working relationship with supermarket personnel and management - Other duties as assigned Requirement...
