Associate Dir- Workforce Development

Job description

The Associate Director of Workforce Development plays a key role in advancing Excelsior University's workforce development strategy by expanding partnerships with state workforce agencies, regional and local workforce development boards, and other public sector stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this position supports the identification, development, and execution of workforce aligned opportunities that drive enrollment growth, revenue, and institutional impact across targeted U.S. markets. This role is responsible for supporting the university's eligibility and participation in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded programs, including facilitating alignment with state requirements and Eligible Training Provider Lists (ETPLs). The Associate Director works closely with internal academic, operational, fiscal, and marketing teams to ensure workforce initiatives are compliant, scalable, and responsive to employer and workforce system needs.
