Stamping Quality Manager

Job description

The role of a Quality Manager is to ensure that the Stamping Parts meet the quality requirements on all facets of the New Programs from early tooling Engineering discussions to launch at the Stamping plants. The Manager will supervise, coordinate and organize activities and ensure that the quality requirements align with the program quality objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating the Dimensional and Surface Quality activities of the new stamping parts and tools in accordance with the datum and PLP strategy, GD&T, simulations, surface criteria, part buyoffs and launch buyoffs. The manager will ensure that the Dimensional and panel surface meet all the program quality requirements. Provide leadership and direction to SPE functional areas and various cross functional organizations including Stamping, Bodyshop, Assembly Plants and outside suppliers. - Work with the SPE Forming team and the Selected Die Sources to ensure that the GD&T is in coordination with the stamping gravity simulations for new parts.
