POSITION DESCRIPTION: St. Catherine's School is an Episcopal day school in Richmond, Virginia, founded in 1890 enrolling 946 girls age 3 through grade 12. POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary role of this position includes teaching an ancient world history curriculum, based on characteristics of early civilizations, to 5th grade students including historical thinking, reading, writing and research skills. Strong research and writing skills are key in this role, as well as a willingness to collaborate with other humanities teachers and librarians to consistently teach these skills to students.
