Granite State Manufacturing (GSM) is seeking an experienced Class A CNC Lathe Operator to join our precision machining team on first shift. This position is ideal for a highly skilled machinist capable of independently setting up, programming, and operating complex turning equipment to produce precision components supporting the U.S. Navy submarine program and other mission-critical defense platforms. About the Opportunity: As a Class A CNC Lathe Operator, you’ll perform advanced setups, precision machining, and first-piece inspections on a range of CNC turning equipment. GSM operates Doosan VTLs, Mori SL and CL2000 lathes, Okuma LB4000 EX II, ProtoTRAK, and DMG Mori platforms, supporting both high-mix and large-part production. You’ll work closely with Planning and Supervision to execute jobs in accordance with the production schedule (IAW schedule), ensuring throughput, quality, and on-time delivery.
