Job Summary Arrow ARC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures at the Atlanta VA Health System. The OR RN will function both independently and under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or designee, ensuring surgical asepsis, patient safety, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia care providers. The ideal candidate must be proficient in circulating and scrubbing roles and demonstrate expertise in managing surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Shifts: Full-time | Monday-Friday 0700-1530: Primary Responsibilities: Surgical Patient Care: - Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. - Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia care providers, and the surgical team. - Prevent infection through the use of universal precautions, aseptic techniques, and isolation techniques. Operating Room Duties: - Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. - Demonstrate proper aseptic techniques. - Operate and manage the mechanics of the OR table and lights. - Assist anesthesiologists as needed. - Position patients properly for surgica...
