Department: 11860 Non Enterprise Corporate - Passenger Services Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Schedule: Monday-Friday 11 am - 7:30 pm also includes dispatching responsibilities Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Major Responsibilities: Provides safe, timely, and customer‑focused van services by responding promptly to Dispatch calls, traveling safely to designated areas, assisting staff, visitors, and patients with information or directions, and offering age‑ and developmentally appropriate support. Maintains operational and professional standards by ensuring the safety and appearance of the assigned van and completing all required TJC and departmental training for ongoing competency. Oversees daily transportation dispatch operations by assigning drivers and vehicles (vans and gold carts) based on location, timing, and capacity; responding to customer questions and complaints; providing timely route updates; and identifying and resolving logistical issues such as delays, breakdowns, or schedule changes.
