Job description

We are looking for a talented Customer Engineer to join our team in Scoresby, Melbourne. This entry level/early career professional, dual customer/product focused position is focused on management of product specifications and configurations for On Highway product. The role will serve as a technical liaison between the engineering team, OEM customers and key internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, local and global production. This role will also involve supporting installation quality through application of product knowledge and validation of performance to Cummins requirements through physical testing. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Managing product specifications and change control, communicating as required with key stakeholders. - Building and maintaining strong working relationships with external customer and internal cross functional stakeholders - Taking ownership of problem resolution and documenting outcomes with guidance from more experienced team members - Working closely with Quality and Manufacturing teams to address product issues, drive root cause analysis, and support implementation of corrective actions - Utilising propriet...
