THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT THE CONVENTION CENTER. Under general direction provides customer service by greeting customers, answering multi-line telephone, taking messages and responding to customer inquiries. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Provide customer service by accessing patron information, receiving money, and assisting with customer inquiries regarding programming or facility usage. - Perform facility maintenance and setup and respond to issues in the facility such as cleanliness or other issues. - Negotiate patron account information, apply policies and procedures, perform standard data entry tasks, and coordination and scheduling of programs. - Respond to multiple demands for information from the public and adjust to change with respect to the subject matter or informational need expressed in the user's inquiry. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: - Work with various vendors, outside agencies and other department to accommodate needs for facility access, program information, or facility orientation.
