Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: Date Posted: 20260501 Location: Allegheny General Hospital Department: 5C Medicine Telemetry Status: Full Time Shift: 72 hours every two weeks Rotation with rotating weekends and holiday per policy Union: Yes THE UNIT: The Allegheny General 5C Medicine Telemetry Unit is a 26 bed unit featuring all private rooms. The unit maintains a fast pace while serving a diverse patient population with diagnoses ranging from heart failure to gastrointestinal bleeds. The patient population includes those with heart failure, MICU stepdown or post-MICU and CCU patients, post-ventilator patients, those experiencing CHF exacerbations, altered mental status, and dyspnea/shortness of breath. The unit manages a patient population very similar to the MICU but at a lower acuity level and sees a good mix of older and younger adult patients.
