Job description

TITLE: Process Technician C POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for the beginning set-up and/or automation processes for production, with emphasis on measures to increase productivity, efficiency and utilization. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school graduate or equivalent and two years of prior plastics manufacturing experience; one year of technical training on injection molding machines and/or automation equipment preferred - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out simple forms - Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form - Mechanical aptitude required - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
