POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for repair and maintenance of equipment, furnishings, and buildings. Education: Experience: - High school and Vocational Technical training in carpentry; electrical, electronics, or plumbing trades with above average performance or equivalent. - One year's full time non-concurrent experience in any two of the following or two years in general maintenance defined as the building trades of plumbing, electrical, electronics, refrigeration or heating. License/Certification/Registration: - Exhibits good cooperation with management and maintenance department, such as a positive response to applicable improvement issues found in performance reviews or elsewhere; a positive response to instructions or work assignments; a positive approach to improving work skills, communications and productivity. - Within one year of hire/transfer, successfully completes, The American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), NFPA-99, “Healthcare Facilities Code”, Certificate of Attendance SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives direct supervision from the Facility Supervisor.
