We are recruiting a Yard Shunter to join our Transport team in CML Lutterworth on a Full time and permanent basis. Shift: 4ON 4OFF Nights - 18:00pm-06:00am. Salary: £37,944.49 per annum. Job Description: - Observing and adhering to company rules, site procedures and all aspects of Health & Safety and Hygiene at all times - Effectively managing own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive - Liaising with colleagues and ensuring completion of shift report - Conducting daily checks, immediately reporting any defects and / or damage and completing associated documentation - Carrying out trailer checks on loaded trailers and report to ops staff - Completing trailer checklist and reporting to operations desk - Carrying out shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks - Liaising with the warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure smooth and efficient loading / unloading of trailers - Completing vehicles downloads as per the company policy - Monitoring ser...
