Stafford Pharmacy & Home Healthcare is an independent pharmacy embracing the expanded scope of practice for community pharmacists in Alberta. We also provide compounding services for both human and veterinary patients. We are a destination for home healthcare products with a registered nurse and home healthcare consultants on staff.We are currently seeking our next team member: Clinical Pharmacist . Requirements: - Working collaboratively with patients’ physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes - Conducting health screening - Engaging in community outreach programs, - Conducting in-pharmacy immunization clinics - Performing medication reviews and patient care plans as per the provincial standards - Applying the full scope of practice as a clinical pharmacist in Alberta - Patient counseling on the selection and use of non-prescription medication - Administering vaccinations, medications for injection – subcutaneous, intramuscular - Ensuring accurate pharmacotherapy - Supervising and consulting with registered technicians compounding prescribed pharmaceutical products for both human and veterinary patients - Advising patients and health ca...
