Nature and Scope The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is field based with leadership responsibilities of Territory Managers (TM) focused on selling Animal Health products to veterinarians. The RSM is responsible for leading the team to achieve established revenue and profit goals while effectively managing expenses. The RSM participates in national and local strategic meetings, as well as leads meetings with their respective teams. Candidate must reside in covered territory: MI, IN, PA, WV, OH, MD, DE, VA, DC, NJ, NY, CT, VT, MA, ME, NH, RI. Preferred location: NYC - Metropolitan area, Philadelphia- Metropolitan area, Boston - Metropolitan area, or Baltimore/DC - Metropolitan area Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Directs and manages a team of Territory Managers in multiple territories to achieve/exceed sales and profit goals. - Responsible for the overall performance outcomes of Territory Managers, ensuring they are trained and fully prepared with the requisite selling skills, knowledge of the products and expertise within the relative therapeutic area(s). - Ensures the timely and accurate flow of information between the field and the Corporate Office. - Working in coo...
