Join Our Deaconess Team! We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Float Pool team at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. As part of our dedicated care team, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered care while working in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills truly matter. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care in various units, including but not limited to medical-surgical, telemetry, emergency, intensive care, and other specialty areas, depending on competency and facility needs. The float pool RN adapts quickly to new environments and demonstrates flexibility, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills.
