Description TRI Air Testing, Inc. , located in Pflugerville, Texas, is looking for a Full-time Microbiologist I. The Microbiology Laboratory Associate supports the Lab Director and Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor in executing all functions of TRI Air Testing’s microbiology laboratory. This role is responsible for performing analytical procedures, maintaining laboratory standards, supporting method development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Perform established daily microbiological analyses and laboratory procedures, including but not limited to: 2. Provide training, guidance, and oversight to technicians working within the microbiology lab - Aerobic and anaerobic plate counting - DNA-based microbial identification (species profiling) - Potable water testing and analysis - pH measurement and related water quality assessments - Autoclave sterilization of laboratory equipment 3. Support the expansion of laboratory capabilities by: 4. Serve as a technical resource during internal and external audits conducted by regulatory bodies and customers 5.
