Your Opportunity The Senior Security Designer in the Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) market performs basic technical duties under the supervision of Group Leaders or Project Manager. Understands and identifies project requirements and performs independent technical work on basic tasks within one’s own discipline. Coordinates production with workgroup. Provides guidance, training, and mentorship to junior Consultants. Coordinates with Project Manager on completion of duties. Your Key Responsibilities: - Meets with clients to review industry trends and guide discussions to develop client and project specific basis of design. - Develops system designs for Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom systems under minimal supervision; this includes the ability to offer solutions to general technical problems. - Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines. - Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal. - Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting them to QA/QC reviewer. - Performs QA/QC reviews f...
