Job description
This position provides oversight and direction for the medication diversion surveillance program. Oversees the investigation process of suspected medication diversion incidents. Leads and organizes the Organizations Medication Diversion Response and the Medication Safety and Security Committee. Participates in continuous improvement, education, and planning activities. Qualifications: - Minimum of one (1) of the following required: - Bachelor's degree in nursing. - Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana. - Minimum three (3) years' experience in clinical practice and demonstrated involvement with medication diversion prevention and/or medication use process improvement required. - Proficiency in electronic medication tracking systems and inventory management systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell) pre...
