Job description

Job Purpose As a Legal Advisor specialising in Low Velocity Impact (LVI) cases, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of non-litigated personal injury claims that involve allegations of fraud. Key Responsibilities: - Progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR, prioritising urgent matters and managing daily caseloads. - Instruct Counsel for conferences, hearings, and case management conferences (CMCs). - Keep clients informed and updated regularly throughout the claim’s lifecycle. - Maintain strong relationships with referrers, ensuring consistent service and loyalty to the firm. - Liaise with BTE (Before the Event) and ATE (After the Event) insurers, keeping them fully informed on claim progress. - Check the authenticity and validity of claims, especially on complex or potentially fraudulent files. - Prepare files for transfer to the litigation team as soon as possible. - Achieve individual and team targets, supporting colleagues to ensure departmental goals are met. - Build relationships with external clients to minimise complaints and enhance the firm’s reputation. - Ensure all work is compliant with internal policies and external regulations. - C...
