Job Summary: Applicant will be assigned to work on research areas of heart diseases in Dr. Tipparaju lab at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Tipparaju’s research lab is studying heart failure, MI, skeletal muscle disease and evaluating gene/drug/nanoparticle-based therapeutics using cell culture, organoids and animal models. Conducts research work using ex vivo Langendorff setup. Perform I/R protocols, collect perfusate, measure biochemical markers, TTC stain. Analyze the report in a timely manner.
