Prep ares and maintains a variet y of D e partmental reports and r ec ords . Supervises correspond e nc e staff. Maintain s and assures th at all records are accurate and conform to hospital accreditation standards of th e JCAHO and New York Sta t e Department of Health . Provides daily update to Director of Health Information Management on activities, issues and problems Provides reports on status of chart compl e tion and other required it e ms for th e Health Information Management Committ ee . Works as Director of Hea lt h Info rm ation Management in his/h e r a bsence . M ai ntains q u alit y work t o ass ur e timely comp l etion of workload and a dh erence to standards o f q u a li ty co nt ro l. Works closely with our Release of Information vendor to ensure production, quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
