Some travel required with doctor to our nearby Katy location. POSITION SUMMARY: Contributes to the organization by performing diagnostic tests as ordered by an Ophthalmologist. The Diagnostic Technician works with the Diagnostics team to provide services to a wide arrange of patients and their Physicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of technical procedures that require knowledge and good patient care, to include: a. Visual Testing b. Ocular Coherence Tomography(OCT) c. Corneal Topography d. IOL Master/Lenstar e. Basic IOL Calculations f. Pachemetry g. Specular Microscopy(ECC) h. Basic Fundus Photography i. External Photography for Ocular Plastics and Eye Muscle Documentation j. Preparing/Cleaning/Maintaining Exam Rooms Assumes responsibility with team for the overall cleanliness of diagnostic rooms Advises Director of any problems with equipment Complies with HIPPA regulations Responsible for continuing education and professional development All other duties as a...
