Position Overview: - Department: Security - Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday 6:30 AM (Off Days Thursday & Friday) - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and More What You Will Do: Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. - Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. - Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards. - Maintain knowledge/follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations. - Train and mentor staff on environment of care and emergency management processes and procedures.
