Leads, directs, coaches, and supervises a team of Corrections Officers on an assigned shift in a 24-hour correctional facility within the Department of Corrections. Performance Management: - Supervise staff and assigns shift coverage, priorities and projects for the facility; assign work and evaluate performance. - Assist in interviewing and hiring of Corrections Officer applicants; lead orientation and training of new staff. - Review and approve timecards for staff. - Establish priorities and guides staff in adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices; provide support and clarification for staff who violate policy and procedures. - Review and evaluate employee performance, ensuring staff are trained and provide feedback in knowledg...
