Engine Field Service Technician

Job Summary: Completes preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on engines and related components at the customer site with minimal direction. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Wabush, NL). Shift: 14x14: - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics - Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality - Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. - Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. - Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. - Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software Available Schedule: 14x14: Mining Site: Education...
