Job description

Performs echocardiograms including but not limited to M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler and TEE Echocardiogram. Performs pediatric Echocardiogram. Provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens and stress testing. Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Education: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience. Experience: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months performing Echocardiograms. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year performing Echocardiograms Certifications: REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Must have CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS. If a new graduate, the registration is required within one year from hire date or transfer into position.
