Description Venesco, LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to provide services at Naval Hospital Pensacola and outlying clinics. Pharmacy Technicians will care for active-duty services members and their dependents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who serve our country! National certification by either the Pharmacy Technician Certifying Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) is required. Competitive compensation package including comprehensive benefits offered! Hours: Technicians are rotating through the following three shifts monthly: First shift is from 0500 – 1400, lunch 30 mins. Second shift is from 0700 – 1530, lunch 30 mins. Third shift is from 0900 – 1700, lunch 30 mins. Duties Include: - Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures. - Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases. - Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician’s requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions. - Pe...
