DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Jockey in AUS - Altona, Ajax Road The role: - Assist the Driver in loading and unloading fragile freight using appropriate handling devices - Ensure all freight is handled carefully and placed in position as directed by the Driver - Support the Driver in checking freight against documentation and obtaining customer signatures upon delivery - Perform warehousing tasks such as housekeeping, rack dismantling, and waste sorting when there are no deliveries - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle and work areas - Assist with physical lifting and movement of freight at delivery locations, including difficult-to-access areas - Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents immediately - Operating stock management tools; for example, MHE - Maintain MHE equipment by completing pre-use inspections and operator adjustments Provide immediate communication to the Driver...
