Department: Urologists Job Summary: The OMFS Advanced Care Provider (NP or PA) will provide direct clinical care for patients in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic. Works closely under the supervision of our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providers and will work in close communication with the divisions OMFS residents. Multidisciplinary communication with referring providers including but not limited to Dentists and Orthodontists. Involvement in the educational training of future providers is also an option for interested providers. Education: - Monitors and evaluates medical condition of patient and under the supervision of a physician and in collaboration with other disciplines and standards of care or applying appropriate protocols, make decisions regarding treatment changes.
