Benefits: Reports to: General Manager/Manager/Director of Operations Classification: Hourly; Non-exempt Supervises: N/A - Competitive salary - Employee discounts - Flexible schedule - Opportunity for advancement POSITION SUMMARY: Bartenders are responsible for exceeding the guest expectations by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service whether mixing drinks or serving food at the bar. A Bartender has a variety of duties and will need to be a team player and also assist servers via the service bar. Accountability is an important trait for bartenders who must verify patrons are old enough to be served alcohol, and then serve them responsibly. Bartenders must be able to deal with customers in a variety of moods, as well as build relationships that turn visitors into regulars. Maintaining a positive and professional approach towards coworkers and customers in a high volume establishment is critical. THIS POSITION IS PERMITTED TO ACCEPT SERVICE BAR TIPS.
