Work for the IMF. Work for the World. Department: MCM: The Monetary and Capital Markets Dept (MCM) has an opening for a Division Chief/Assistant Director position in the Capital Flow Division (CF). The CF Division aims to support the Fund’s work on capital flows. This includes providing policy guidance on the appropriate use of capital flow management tools and on capital account liberalization The division’s core work includes implementing Fund policy on exchange restrictions and multiple currency practices (as mandated by the Fund’s Articles of Agreement) and maintaining the "AREAER" database on the exchange measures of IMF members. The division plays a major role in contributing to the Fund’s vibrant analytical and policy work agenda on capital flow issues. It works in close cooperation with other Fund departments and country authorities in undertaking policy analysis, surveillance, and technical assistance.
