DEPARTMENT: Women's & Gender Studies POSITION TITLE: Lecturer Pool – Women's & Gender Studies POSITION DETAILS: The Department of Women’s & Gender Studies (WGS) is a dynamic interdisciplinary field preparing students to be future leaders, scholars, and social justice activists. We are dedicated to studying the social production of gender and women’s experiences in relation to formations of sexuality, race, class, nationality, ability, ageism, and other categories of difference. We are seeking candidates for our part-time lecturer pool to teach the following courses: Intro to Gender & Sexuality; Intro to Disability Studies; Introduction to Women’s Studies; Intro to the Women’s Movement in Contemporary Society; Asian American Women; Mother, Woman & Person; Women of the Middle East; Gender & Health; Gender, Race & Class; Women of Color; Women and Work; Violence Against Women; Feminism & the Spirit; Women in Art; Women’s Global Issues; Intro to Queer & Trans Studies; and LGBTQ Histories.
