JOB TITLE: HIM Tech (Ambulatory Specialist): Finger Lakes Medical Associates in Geneva - (Full time Day Shift) DEPARTMENT: Health Information Management: LOCATION: Finger Lakes Medical Associates: 200 North Street Geneva, NY 14456 HOURS PER WEEK: 40: SCHEDULE: Flexible 7-3:30, 7:30-4m 8-4:30 or 8:30-5 Position Summary: Maintains the confidentiality, security and integrity of medical records according to Rochester Regional Health policies along with State and Federal regulations. Duties include application of a variety of work methods, familiarity with department and the following of pertinent policies, practices, procedures and government regulations. Supports the daily operations of the practice by ensuring that patient needs are being met. Performs a variety of duties to include, but not limited to data entry, scanning, faxing, copying, mailing, phone calls, chart boxing, provided direction and training to team members as instructed by leadership. Assists in a customer service manner by interacting with patients, families/personal representatives and RRH Staff.
