Job DetailsJob Location: Overland Park-135th - Overland Park, KS 66223Position Type: Full-Time (30-39 hours)Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyJob Category: Health CareSECTION 1: Job Summary (Summary of the basic functions of the position) Under the general direction of the Medical Director, the Central Sterile Processing Technician receives, cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes items for reprocessing. Assemble and tests equipment for issue as requested, as well as orders supplies as needed. SECTION 2: Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions) Restocks operating room supplies as caseload permits and helps pull supplies for cases in accordance with the posted schedule. Organizes instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency. Applies specialized knowledge of specialized instruments, equipment and supplies utilized in surgical procedures. Decontaminates, assembles, wraps/packages and sterilizes instruments in a timely manner using Standard Precautions.
