What The Role Is Under the direction and supervision of the Sr. Manager or Manager, Environmental, the Specialist, Environmental works with Facility Management and Staff to ensure compliance with all site environmental programs, including management of hazardous waste, petroleum products, chemicals, spill prevention and control, storm water run-off, etc. The primary responsibility is to ensure company resources are used in a cost-effective manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. *Please note this position is hybrid What You'll Be Doing: - Supports and emphasizes the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures regulatory compliance. - Assists with the preparation of environmental regulatory reports to local, state and federal agencies. - Recognizes problems, informs environmental manager of concerns and helps to resolve them. - Assists with creation of documents, including reports, memos, graphs, charts, tables, etc. - Assists in the development and implementation of site-specific programs and procedures including, but not limited to, SPCC plans. - Assists with the maintenance of relationships with local and state regulatory agencies. - Ass...
