Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Reads manufacturing methods, blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and feed rates. - Selects, positions, and adjusts machine to proper specifications called out in manufacturing method. - Verifies silicon rubber is properly stored prior to use. - Moves controls to position take up reel, extruder, and collection reel. Controls feed rate, speed, and machine rate. - Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications. - Sets up and operates machines and equipment other than machine tools such as inspection machines and cooling equipment. - Performs quality inspection on finished product. - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands a...
