Job Title: Planner/Scheduler I-II Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Texas, Inc.-GTX: Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Verifies crew assignments for next day; documents non-wrench/non-availability time; creates/cancels work orders; notifies networks of due/overdue work - Coordinates with Ops Coordinators, Design/Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Construction, Major Accounts, Asset Management, and Distribution Operations Center on contractor work, job assignments, site readiness, job scope, work packages, prerequisites, and material/T&E estimates - Monitors contractor schedule adherence and flags exceptions against contract assignment criteria - Prepares and updates two-week schedule using crew capacity, vetted backlog, and Quarterly Plan; maintains 3-week forecast - Reviews backlog for new work orders and forecasts for potential start dates - Receive approved prioritized work for contract compliance for contractor assignments - Bundles work for efficiency; manage fleet and material planning - Follows proper procedures for emergency/unplanned work and adjusts schedule with approvals as needed - Screens and consolidates work orders for simple projects us...
