This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Researcher to join our Center for Advanced Genome Engineering (CAGE). The CAGE has three missions: Facilitate investigator-initiated genome editing projects using CRISPR-Cas9 Perform independent R&D to evaluate and develop new genome editing techniques Assist the gene and cell therapy programs at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As a member of the Shondra Pruett-Miller laboratory, you will lead complex genome engineering projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with investigators across the institution to advance cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities: Design and optimize genome editing strategies for custom cell lines Develop and troubleshoot CRISPR-based approaches: Analyze and interpret experimental data; present findings at meetings Collaborate with investigators and guide project execution Mentor and train junior researchers: Preferred Skills: Knowledge of molecular biology and genome editing Hands-on experience with CRISPR-Cas9 technology a plus Proficiency in cell culture and related techniques Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and leadership skills: Experience...
