Your job is more than a job. The Xray Technologist Lead performs duties directly involved with a variety of general Xray procedures. This includes applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy, following sterile technique to scrub into procedures, and the ability to document relevant case information in the case log. This position requires independent judgment and use of critical thinking skills, and with ingenuity and initiative essential to successful completion of the procedure and satisfaction of the physician. Oversees the technologists and ancillary personnel and recommends scheduling of personnel. Assures a smooth patient flow. Ensures exam scheduling, equipment maintenance, and JCAHO compliance. Day to Day: GENERAL DUTIES: Clinical Services: ​Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions. Oversees and demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all x-ray equipment and performance of all x-ray protocols and procedures.
