DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: SUPERVISION: Reports directly to the Family Birth Center Director - The nurse practitioner (NP) will work in concert with OB/GYNs and be responsible and dedicated to the Early Labor Evaluation (ELE) Unit for triage and treatment of urgent and emergent obstetric and gynecologic problems. The ELE unit will be managed by the NP Monday-Thursday from 9am to 5pm and on Friday from 9am to 1pm.
