RELATIONSHIPS: - Reports directly to Stewarding Supervisor/Assistant Chief Steward/Chief Steward - Interacts and cooperates with others in the Stewarding Department. - Interacts and cooperates with other Departments as appropriate. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Attends meetings and hotel training sessions as required by hotel management. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate in English with guests, co–workers and Management to their understanding. Desirable: - Washes, scrubs, and maintains Kitchen and related walls and floors. - Operates dishwashing machine to manufacturer's specifications and instructions. - Washes and scrubs pots and pans used in the Kitchen. - Arranges Chinaware, Silver in store rooms and shelves. - Empties various garbage cans as appropriate. - Assists Kitchen personnel as required. - Adopts the "Clear as you go" method of working. - Sets up work station as required including filling dish machine, checking...
