Job Summary: Overview The Health Physicist Sr provides operational and technical coordination of daily Radiation Protection evolutions. Additionally, establishes and maintains programs for the effective monitoring and trending of current radiological control practices and actively participates in the development of new processes and technologies. Interfaces with other Station departments to ensure efficient coordination of their activities with the Station’s Radiation Protection strategies Job Description: Key Accountabilities: - Assist the Radiation Protection Supervisors in the direction of day- to- day activities of the Radiation Protection personnel including log review and coordination with other station work groups • Develop and maintain Radiation Protection Department and Safety Services procedures • Coordinate the implementation of the Station’s Radioactive Waste Management; ALARA; Radioactive Material Control; Dosimetry; Respiratory Protection and Ef...
