Job Summary: The Instrument/ Electrical Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Operations Supervisor and is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all process instruments, controls, computers, PLCs and electrical systems at the Newton facility. Job Description: The Instrument/ Electrician Technician duties will vary but include troubleshooting and repairs of electric, electronic and control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, AC and DC motors, breakers (120v 1- phase to 4160v 3-phase), transformers, power supplies, fiber optics, generators, plant lighting, plant telephone and paging systems, and HVAC equipment. The successful candidate shall be able to perform process instrumentation calibration and repair, interpret drawings and instruction manuals and perform rigging as necessary to move, lift and position heavy equipment.
