Description Job Summary: Our Mission: To create exceptional patient experiences. The TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track Advanced Practice Provider (APP) performs detailed histories and physical exams and partners with patients to create appropriate, evidence-based, medical treatment plans. Additionally, the APP collaborates with the supervising Physicians, Medical Directors, and Clinical Management team on patient cases when appropriate. Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides evidence-based, episodic care to patients based on current guidelines – independently and in collaboration with other medical providers – following standards and protocols set by TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track - Works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocols - Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical examinations - Orders and interprets diagnostic tests as needed - Partners with patients to determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary - Safely prescribes and/or dispenses medications - Documents medical information of patients and reviews patien...
