Job Description: Essential Job Functions: TPF Platform & Operating System Management - Lead large‑scale TPF Operating System upgrades (PUTs) across multiple airline TPF complexes, each with unique configurations and operational constraints. - Manage the evaluation, customization, and deployment of hundreds of IBM APARs per release, impacting thousands of interdependent software components across the TPF stack. - Oversee continuous IBM software intake and determine applicability, risk, integration approach, and implementation sequencing. Database & File System Engineering: - Design, maintain, and optimize fixed and pool record structures and TPFDF database software and schemas. - Plan and execute database expansions, reorganizations, and structural changes to support growth, performance, and resilience. - Develop database descriptors and tooling to support recoup and recovery operations. - Support test environment data integrity through PCI‑compliant database cleansing solutions. - Implement file system monitoring, backup strategies, and recovery processes for production and non‑production environments.
