Job Description Hours: Full-Time Position – 35 Hours Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101 This position requires working across the three main offices of the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC). The DDC, Operations Division, is seeking a Senior Facilities Assistant to support the maintenance and daily operations of agency facilities. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining building systems and equipment and perform minor repairs, including painting, plastering, and installing fixtures, as well as other related tasks. Responsibilities also include assisting with the relocation of furniture and office equipment and preparing agency spaces and conference rooms for meetings and special events. The candidate will be expected to maintain accurate work records and conduct routine inspections of DDC facilities to ensure all areas are in good working condition. In addition, the Senior Facilities Assistant will manage and restock pantry supplies and ensure copier paper is consistently replenished at all shared copiers.
