Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care - University Healthcare Alliance job. A Brief Overview: The Resource Medical Assistant functions as a member of SMP Regional Resource Pools to support the various clinic patient care teams. The Resource Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks and procedures to support the delivery of care. The Resource Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting patients to obtain quality services in a timely manner and assuring efficient utilization of resources in the coordination of patient care. The Resource Medical Assistant is required to travel to various SMP clinics as assigned. Travel is required for clinic assignments, attending meetings and training sessions at various SMP clinical locations.
