Job description

Overview Responsible for all routine and preventative maintenance duties for all campus locations related to basic trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrician work. A hospital maintenance mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting mechanical equipment and electrical systems. Responsibilities: - Responsible for inspecting equipment and facilities for proper operation and working conditions, maintaining routine equipment inspections and repairs as necessary, and reporting more serious problems to their shop leadership for further instructions or maintenance scheduling. - Responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment, plumbing, heating and wiring, troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards. - Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of facility equipment. - Evaluates and makes recommendations to supervisor regarding the condition of equipment that may need to be repaired or replaced to prevent costly downtime in the future. - Report...
